Divinity - the god-spell skill
Olympus' own magic skill - a spellbook of twenty god-spells cast from Olympian runes, levelled by casting, scaling off your own max hit, and unlocked tome by tome from Athena at level 1 to Zeus at 150.
What it is
Divinity is the god-spell skill and the book every new hero starts on (::divinity switches back to it from any other). It levels by casting, each cast costs Olympian runes, and every spell's damage scales off your max melee hit - so it is a layer on top of your class and gear, not a replacement for them. Buff spells put a live timer on the HUD.
Four tomes, twenty spells
Spells sit in four tomes and a tome is a tier: a Tome of Zeus in your inventory lights the whole book, a Tome of Athena only its own row.

A tome is bound from its parts - front cover on back cover with all three pages in your inventory - and Read on a complete tome switches you to the book.
Runes
Every spell is priced in the ten Olympian runes - Aeolus and Boreas for the early book, Selene, Helios and Demeter through the middle, Hephaestus, Ares, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus at the top. The runes are stackable, craft at the floating altar hub, and the rune-per-essence yield climbs with your Runecrafting level, so the two skills feed each other.
Casting pays 1.5x the rune cost in xp with a level curve on top. The skill also shows in the Skills tab with its own icon and clicks through to the altar hub.
