The Season of Hades
The first season. The Underworld breaks through at the Scorched March - the Ashen Camp, the Halls of Hades, Cerberus and Hades himself, sieges, a spawn chain that ends in a global boss, season skilling, the Grimoire, boons, and three gear sets topped by the Panoply of Hades.
The Underworld rises
A crack called the Breach has opened in the Scorched March, and the dead are pouring through. The Olympians have dug in in front of it at the Ashen Camp. That's where the first season starts: ::hades.
Seasons sit on top of your main account, with no new character and no wipe. They only ever add power: no season damage nerf, no season drop-rate nerf, and you keep everything you earn when the season ends.
What's in it
- Two maps and a raid. The Scorched March, the Halls of Hades below the Breach, the Gates of Tartarus, and the House of Hades raid.
- A story in seven chapters, The Underworld Rises, from Athena at the camp to Hades on his throne.
- The Underworld's Wrath. Every kill and every season skilling action feeds one server-wide chain: elites, then zone bosses (the Furies, Thanatos), then a 12M-HP global boss at the Breach. It's one of three: Cerberus Unleashed, the Minotaur of Tartarus or the Lernaean Hydra.
- World bosses you wake yourselves. Cerberus rises after 300 whelps die in his Kennel, Hades after 2,500 offerings at his throne, and the Soul-Eater after 5,000 souls at the Soul Altar.
- The Siege of the Ashen Camp. Once the dead have rallied, they come for the camp. Build barricades, repair the gate, hire spearmen and archers, set up your own Olympian cannon, and keep Hermes alive for ten minutes of waves.
- Season skilling with its own nodes, opened by season rank: Stygian iron to Adamantine, four new trees, three river fish, three herbs, five river runes. Every action pays skill XP and season XP.
- Six season potions up to the Nectar of the Dead (combat stats held at 600), three carried phials, and the Grimoire of the Underworld, a 12-spell book that scales off your own max hit.
- Boons of the Olympians: eight gods, three tiers, one boon active at a time.
- Three gear sets, each forged from the last: Stygian (above the old best-in-slot), the Regalia of the Tribunal, and the raid's Panoply of Hades.
- Season Board: 100 ranks, a 5x5 task board, three talent trees, daily and weekly bounties, weekly affixes, and the Obol shop. Finish the full board for Conqueror of the Underworld: +10% damage and 5% damage reduction, permanently.
